Manufacturing Plant

This manufacturing facility was the first truss plant to be opened by Truswood. Conveniently located just off of I-540, this facility is in the heart of the triangle area. Opened in 1980 with only 3 employees, the Raleigh plant now employs over 60 full-time manufacturing employees in two shifts. The Raleigh office is the home office of the NC sales dept, the engineering dept., technical services dept, purchasing, and the maintenance staff for our fleet of trucks.

The Truss Lines

With two roof and two floor truss lines running in the Raleigh plant, we can build over 500 roof trusses and 260 floor trusses in an 8-hour shift. Roof trusses, as long as 77’ long have been built at this facility.  Transportation of trusses of these lengths is the biggest obstacle to overcome.  Floor trusses are built to standard, as well as custom, depths.
